Dementia - Thursday 5th September 2024. 8pm-9pm
In this webinar we will be exploring the subject of dementia. We will be talking to Maurice Lawrence, who has worked in collaboration with many church denominations around the country and abroad to address issues of mental health and dementia. He has worked with the Alzheimer’s Society as a consultant and learning instructor to enable organisations to meet the needs of people with these diagnoses. We will be exploring how the rising numbers of people with dementia effects our churches and how we can support the people and their families who are affected by it.

In this webinar we explore the subject of domestic abuse and the impact it has on mental health. We will be talking to Sarah Creen who runs a Restored group in her church for people who have been through domestic abuse. We will be exploring how churches can recognise the signs of abuse and support people who have been through it.
